Сегодня, 22 февраля, в центре Донецка по традиции состоялось торжественное возложение цветов к памятникам Ф.А. Гринкевичу и К.А. Гурову, посвященное Дню защитника Отечества.

Почтить память павших солдат пришли и.о. главы столичной администрации Алексей Кулемзин, глава администрации Ворошиловского района Владислав Латынцев, председатель организации ветеранов Донецка Валерий Белозерцев, а также ветераны Великой Отечественной войны и труженики тыла, учащиеся школ и молодежь, жители и гости города.

«Хочу пожелать нашим ветеранам и участникам Великой Отечественной войны здоровья, сил, счастья. А подрастающее поколение хочу призвать помнить, чтить и гордиться подвигами дедов и прадедов», — сказал Алексей Кулемзин.

Возложение прошло под звуки столичного детского оркестра, который исполнял песни военных лет. Учащиеся школ района вручили цветы и открытки героям ВОВ.

Today, on February 22nd, floral offerings to the monuments of F.A. Grinkevich and K.A. Gurov, dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day, traditionally took place n the center of Donetsk.

Acting head of the capital administration Alexei Kulemzin, head of the Voroshilovsky district administration Vladislav Latyntsev, chairman of the Organization of Donetsk Veterans Valery Belozertsev, as well as veterans of the Great Patriotic War, workers of the rear, students of schools, youth, residents and guests of the city came to honor the memory of the fallen soldiers.

“I want to wish our veterans and participants in the Great Patriotic War health, strength, happiness. I want to encourage the younger generation that they remember, honor and be proud of the deeds their grandfathers and great-grandfathers performed,” Alexei Kulemzin said.

The floral offerings took place to the sounds of the Donetsk children’s orchestra that performed songs of the war years.

Schoolchildren of the district presented flowers and postcards to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
