Сегодня, 22 февраля, в «Донбасс Опера» прошло праздничное мероприятие, посвященное Дню защитника Отечества. Как сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР, в мероприятии приняли участие Глава ДНР Александр Захарченко, и.о. Главы ЛНР Леонид Пасечник, министр обороны ДНР Владимир Кононов, руководители министерств и ведомств Республики, военнослужащие Народных Республик, представители силовых структур ДНР и ЛНР.

«Дорогие братья, земляки! Поздравляю вас с Днем защитника Отечества. Этот праздник настоящих мужчин и воинов. Он имеет для нас самый прямой смысл. С 2014 года мы защищаем свою землю, свои семьи, дома, нашу веру и право разговаривать на родном языке. Этот праздник нам передали наши отцы, деды и прадеды.

От чистого сердца поздравляю с праздником ветеранов войны, воинов-«афганцев», военнослужащих армии ДНР и ЛНР, а также всех настоящих мужчин. Есть знаменитая фраза «Есть такая профессия — Родину защищать». Никто из нас еще в 2013 году об этом не думал, но десятки тысяч людей освоили эту профессию, чтобы защитить свою Родину и землю. Поздравляю вас с Днем защитника Отечества. Но в этот день нельзя забывать о наших братьях, которые отдали свою жизнь, защищая нашу Родину», — сказал Александр Захарченко.

Все присутствующие почтили минутой молчания память погибших земляков, отдавших жизнь за Отечество.

«Во имя их памяти обещаю – победа будет за нами! Враг будет разбит!» — подчеркнул Глава Республики.

Глава ДНР Александр Захарченко наградил бойцов за мужество и отвагу, проявленные при защите Донецкой Народной Республики, медалями «За боевые заслуги», знаками отличия «За заслуги перед Республикой», «Георгиевский крест» IV степени, Почетными грамотами и Благодарностями Главы ДНР.

Также медалью «За боевые заслуги» были награждены военнослужащие Народной милиции ЛНР, которые участвовали в совместной Дебальцевской операции в 2015 году.

«Донбасс един. Нет различий между военнослужащими ДНР и ЛНР. Хочу сказать огромное спасибо нашим братьям из Луганской Народной Республики. Мы вместе, между нами нет различий, и Донбасс для нас един», — сказал Александр Захарченко.

Кроме того, военнослужащие НМ ЛНР были награждены знаком отличия «За заслуги перед Республикой».

«Нам всем досталась тяжелая доля, но я уверен, что мы сможем сделать наше будущее, будущее наших детей лучше и счастливее. Ради этого мы поднялись в 2014 году. Никто из нас не шел воевать из-за наград и почестей, мы все шли защищать нашу землю. Хочу, чтобы чувство преданности нашей стране осталось с нами на всю жизнь», — сказал Александр Захарченко.

«От себя лично и от народа Луганской Народной Республики поздравляю вас с наступающим праздником — Днем защитника Отечества. Сегодня для нас этот праздник наиболее актуален, так как наша Народная армия, как и 100 лет назад, защищает рубежи нашей Родины и интересы народа.

Желаю вам крепкого здоровья, успехов, тепла, благополучия и мирного неба над головой. Вместе мы — сила! Наша сила в вере и нашем единстве! Уверен, что победа будет за нами, враг будет разбит», — сказал Леонид Пасечник.

И.о. Главы ЛНР за непреклонную стойкость, мужество и отвагу, проявленные в Чернухинско-Дебальцевской операции, наградил военнослужащих ДНР орденом «За службу и храбрость» II степени.

«Товарищи военнослужащие! Дорогие ветераны! От себя лично хочу вас поздравить по старинке с Днем Советской Армии и Военно-морского флота! Мы смогли доказать всему миру, что по-настоящему достойные сыны своей Отчизны. Поздравляю вас с праздником. Пусть пули всегда пролетают мимо. И самое главное — чтобы ваши семьи видела вас возвращающимися со службы живыми и здоровыми», — поздравил всех присутствующим с праздником министр обороны Владимир Кононов.

За весомый вклад в становление и развитие Вооруженных сил Донецкой Народной Республики Орденом Святителя Николая Чудотворца II степени были награждены отличившиеся военнослужащие ДНР.

None of us thought of it back in 2013, but tens of thousands of people have mastered this job in order to protect their Motherland and region. I congratulate you on Defender of the Fatherland Day. But this day we should not forget about our brothers who gave their lives defending our Motherland,” Alexander Zakharchenko said.

All those present observed a minute of silence in tribute to the memory of the dead countrymen who gave their lives, defending their land.

“In the name of their memory, I promise that victory will be ours! The enemy will be defeated!” the Head of the Republic emphasized.

Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko held the awarding ceremony. For courage and bravery shown in the defense of the Donetsk People’s Republic, servicemen of the Republic were awarded medals For Military Merits, decorations For Merits to the Republic, Saint George’s Cross of the 4th class decorations, Certificates of Merit and Acknowledgement of the DPR Head.

Moreover, medals for Military Merit were awarded to soldiers of the LPR People’s Militia who participated in the joint Debaltsevo operation in 2015.

“Donbass is one. There are no differences between the military of the DPR and the LPR. I want to greatly thank our brothers from the Lugansk People’s Republic. We are together, there is no difference between us and Donbass is one for us,” Alexander Zakharchenko said.

In addition, servicemen of the LPR PM were awarded decorations For Merits to the Republic.

“We all have faced a tough fate, but I’m sure that we will be able to make our future and the future of our children better and happier. For the sake of that we rose in 2014. None of us went to war because of rewards or honors, we all went just to defend our land. I want that the feeling of loyalty to our country remain with us for life,” Alexander Zakharchenko said.

Today this holiday is most relevant for us, since our People’s Army, like 100 years ago, defends the borders of our Motherland and the interests of the nation.

I wish you strong health, success, warmth, well-being and the peaceful sky above your head. United we stand! Our power is in the faith and our unity! I am confident that victory will be ours, the enemy will be defeated,” Leonid Pasechnik said.

Acting Head of the LPR awarded soldiers of the DPR orders for Service and Courage of the 2nd class for the unswerving steadfastness, courage and bravery shown in the Chernukhino-Debaltsevo operation.

“Fellow servicemen! Dear veterans! On my own behalf, in the old way, I want to congratulate you on Day of the Soviet Army and the Navy! We were able to prove to the whole world that we truly are worthy sons of our Fatherland. I congratulate you on the holiday. May bullets always miss. And the most important thing is that your families see you return from service alive and healthy,” Minister of Defense Vladimir Kononov congratulated the audience on the holiday.

For a significant contribution to the formation and development of the Armed Forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Orders of St Nicholas the Wonderworker of the 2nd class was awarded to distinguished servicemen of the DPR.
