Международный наблюдатель на праймериз, депутат парламента Пьемонта Маурицио Марроне (Италия) сравнил в интервью корреспонденту официального сайта ДНР Пьемонт (который в XIX веке являлся территорией свободы для всей Европы) и положение Донецкой Народной Республики в современном мире.

«Да, это территория не только свободы, но и храбрости, и, главное, желания быть свободными и решать свое будущее. То, что я видел — невероятно. А западные СМИ подают информацию о том, что здесь присутствует какая-то «российская агрессия». Было приятно видеть гордость, с которой люди приходили и голосовали на праймериз. Многие из участков, где проходило голосование, имели повреждения от обстрелов. Все это отремонтировали. И я думаю, что Пьемонт в частности и Италия, а то и вся Европа должны учиться у Донбасса, у ДНР. Чтобы не Евросоюз принимал за нас все решения, а сам народ мог выбирать свое будущее», — заявил Маурицио Марроне.

And I think that Piedmont and Italy in particular, and even entire Europe should learn from Donbass, from the DPR.
